Associate a call to an account or opportunity
Associating calls to accounts or opportunities enables the call to be included in the deal and account activity which is visible in the Deals and Account pages. Typically, calls are automatically associated with the correct account or opportunity, but if a call is imported or incorrectly associated (perhaps because the contact has multiple email addresses, or because a single account has multiple opportunities), you can manually associate it to the correct account via the call page.
Note
Calls can't be associated to leads or call participants.

Open the call page, click the Call info tab, and in the Account section, click Associate. You can also click
in the top right corner of the page and select Manually associate call.

In the dialog that opens, click Associate call to account or opportunity, and type the name of the account or opportunity that you want to associate the call with.

If you want to associate the call with a specific opportunity, start typing the opportunity name in the OPPORTUNITY box, and select the opportunity from the list.

To select more deals to associate the call to, click Associate call to account or opportunity again, and repeat step 3.

Click NEXT, and then click APPLY to confirm your association.
The association may take up to one hour to show up in Gong.

Open the call page and click the Call info tab. In the Account section, you'll see the name of the account and deal that the call is currently associated with. Click the
beside either of these names to open a dialog for changing the association. You can also click

In the dialog that opens, click
on the line of the account / opportunity that you want to remove association for.

Click Associate call to account or opportunity, and type the name of the account or opportunity that you want to associate the call with.

If you want to associate the call with a specific opportunity, start typing the opportunity name in the OPPORTUNITY box, and select the opportunity from the list.

Click NEXT, and then click APPLY to confirm your association.
The association may take up to one hour to show up in Gong.
