Submit your forecast
Note: This feature is being rolled out as part of the May 2024 release.

Plan: Working with Gong Forecast requires a Forecast seat.
If you're quota-carrying, you’ll get a reminder when it’s time to submit your forecast for a specific line of business. For example, if you're set to submit your "New business" forecast every week, you'll get a weekly reminder similar to this one (you can turn forecast reminders off through your app settings):
Until you submit your forecast, the app will tell you when it's due/overdue:
To submit your forecast:
- Tap the reminder or go to Deals > Forecast.
- If you tap the reminder, the board and timeframe are preselected for you. If you enter manually through Deals > Forecast, you'll need to select them:

- Select the forecast category you wish to update and tap its card.
- Update your forecast for the selected category. You can leave notes for your manager for some context.
- Click Update. When you complete all categories in a selected line of business, you'll be notified through the mobile app, and your manager through the desktop app.
- Repeat steps 1-5 for every line of business.
