Share an interview
Sharing interviews with your colleagues makes it easy to collaborate, ask for feedback, consult about issues raised in an interview, and more. You can share an interview with other users who have access to your recruiting workspace (for instance, recruiters or hiring managers) or with colleagues from other departments that don’t use Gong, by leveraging external sharing.
Click Share Call at the top right of the interview page. Click Share internally to share the interview with people who are using Gong, and Share externally to share it with people who aren't using Gong.
You can share entire interviews snippets. For more on snippets, see this.
Share interviews internally via email or Slack. When you share interviews internally, Gong sends the recipient a link to the interview that they can access in Gong.
-
Share via email: Enter the person's name or email address.
-
Share via Slack: To do this, your Gong account needs to be connected to Slack. To share an interview in a private channel, Gong must be invited to that channel.
Share the entire interview or a snippet

Choose from 3 levels of access
When you share a link to an interview, the link comes with the default link expiration and access, as set by your company admin. Click Edit to update the link expiration date and define who can access the interview. Options include:
-
Anyone with the link can access the interview
-
People with the link who identify themselves can access the interview
-
Only people specified during the share process can access the interview
Note
Your company admin may have defined that All interviews shared externally can only be accessed by people specified during the share process.
If you've shared an interview externally, that interview is accessible until the link expires.
If you want to cancel access to the interview before the link expires, or extend access to the link, go to the interview page, and click the Shares & Views icon along the right panel.
From here you can either cancel or extend access to the shared interview.
You can also cancel access via Share Call > Cancel sharing externally. This cancels access to the link that was shared to expire.
-
The views for each time you share a call are tracked separately, even though all the shares are for the same call. So if you share a call today using a shareable link as well as sharing it via email, the views for each of those shares are tracked separately. If you then share the call again tomorrow via email, the views for that share are tracked separately from the email share from the day before.
-
If you share a call via email and don't require the viewer to identify themselves, every time that link is used it is logged as if the person you sent the email to viewed the call, even if they forwarded it to someone else.
-
If you share using a shareable link, we can only tell you that the link was generated and how many times it was used. We can't tell you who used it unless you require the viewer to identify themselves when you generate the link.
Notifications
When a shared interview is viewed, the person who shared the interview receives an email notification.
